Reflections From Last Week
While testing week is never easy for teachers or students, our team made it look easy!! Our students were so confident and many of you shared how hard the students worked throughout both weeks of testing! I am so proud of each and every child, CES team member, substitute and volunteer. Shout out to Mrs. Brown and Mrs. Scroggins for their hard work getting everything organized for us each day. For the support staff, or as some of them like to be called, "specials" thank you for enduring two straight weeks of testing. I know it was especially long for each of you. For our PreK-2nd grade teachers....keeping that many students quiet for that long each day is a tough job...but you did it! Regardless of what the scores show...you all deserve a "4" in my book! I appreciate you more than you know.
April 17th Professional Development
Certified staff will have professional development on April 17th from 3:30-8:30. The agenda has not yet been finalized, but as soon as it is, I will share it with you. If you need childcare for the evening, please click on the form below and fill out the requested information. We will discuss chapter 3 of the Focus book so please be prepared and bring your book with you!
Demo Slam
A Demo Slam is a great way for teachers to share favorite websites, apps, etc. with their colleagues. We will have a Demo Slam Thursday evening during our PD session. You will have 2 minutes max to share your resource. I will have all the technology ready for you all you have to do is share! Please sign up below. I have put my Demo Slam in as an example! Prizes will be involved!! This should be FUN!!!
Popsicles in the Park
The 3rd nine weeks behavior incentive will be Popsicles in the Park on Tuesday, April 15th. Please send permission slips to the office as they are turned in to you. A separate email will be sent with specific details regarding this event. If you have a student that did not receive an invitation and should have, please let the office know asap.
