We officially welcome you back to LHS for another great year!
Our first two days have gone very smoothly and we look forward to sharing the next 9+ months with all of you. We encourage you to get involved in the different clubs and activities we have to offer, or to check our some of our fall sports games, including our very first home football game of the year tomorrow night against Hopewell!
* INTRODUCTIONS ARE IN ORDER *
Reporting for Duty...
Officer Girard is starting her 17th year with the Lawrence Township Police Department (and has been in the township for over 22 years). She also spent a year at LMS as an SRO, and is already thrilled to be meeting and connecting with our students on a more personal level. Officer Girard will not only serve in the SRO capacity here, but will also be a resource for our drivers' education and health classes. She is married to her husband, Michael (LHS class of '92), and has three sons, Michael (11), Charlie (8), and Harrison (6).
When you see her friendly face in the halls, be sure to say hi, introduce yourself, and give her a warm welcome!

Thanks to Ms. Schneck for her tireless hard work and a job (very) well done, and congratulations to Ms. Sabatini on your new role!

Attendance Expectations at LHS
We want to remind you how important it is for our students to be in school each and every day. If students accumulate more than 15 attendance points (unexcused absences or tardies account for the "points") then they lose credit for the course. Students should be in their classroom at 7:45 each day. Any student that comes after the bell is considered unexcused tardy unless they have a doctor's note or documentation of another approved excused absence, found in the student handbook. Three tardies count as one absence, so it is important to be on time for every class!

In addition, 11 Lawrence cheerleaders were selected out of 126 All-American Tryout participants to cheer at special events including The Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade (freshman/sophomores) and the New Years Eve Parade (juniors/seniors) in London, UK!
