2021 Black History Celebration
Dear Greendell Families,
Over a thousand people in our community have been engaged in the 21-Day Racial Equity Challenge this month. I have learned so much by participating in the daily activities. I am looking forward to the culminating event this Thursday evening with Joe Truss, founder and CEO of Truss Leadership.
Greendell families are invited to participate in the Black History events sponsored by the Elementary PTAs this month. The activities are geared towards elementary aged children and their families so I wanted to let you know about them.
We are holding our second Greendell English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) on Tuesday, March 2nd at 5:00pm. Our topic is a discussion on the Summative ELPAC testing. I hope to see families there!
And a friendly request to our Greendell families to complete the Social Emotional Learning survey to help us measure the effectiveness of our SEL curriculum, particularly during this time when social emotional development and wellness is so critical.
Thank you so much!
Principal Shannon
