Voting Information

Dear CFISD community,

The two-week early voting period for the November 5th general election began last Monday, October 21 and will continue through November 1.

Monday, October 21 – Friday, October 26

7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Sunday, October 27

1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Sunday, October 28 - Friday, November 1

7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Some of the convenient voting sites in our community include:

  • Jersey Village City Hall (16327 Lakeview Drive, Jersey Village, 77040)
  • Richard & Meg Weekley Community Center (8440 Greenhouse Road, Cypress, 77433)
  • Katherine Tyra Branch Library (16716 Clay Rd. Houston, 77084)

Similar to Early Voting, the Countywide Voting Centers program allows any voter to vote at ANY county polling place on Election Day and does NOT eliminate your voter registration precincts. Prioritization is on convenience for the voter which means all locations are open to all eligible voters in Harris County. Voters can vote near where they work, live, or go to school.

Please make your voice heard by casting your vote either at an early voting site or on election day.

Please take a few minutes to browse the voter-specific ballot and polling locations on Harris County Clerk Diane Trautman’s website by entering in your name and address. You can also access the early voting sites and hours on the site.

Voting is a key component of the freedom and democracy we enjoy in the United States, but too few of registered voters participate in this important process. We encourage each of you to exercise your right to vote, either during the early voting period or on Election Day.
