News and Notes from the Principal!
Wildcat Family,
It is hard to believe that the beginning of the 2019-2020 school year is upon us. This school year is bound to be exceptional, after all #ThereIsNoPlaceLikeMcAllister. The level of learning planned has me eager to be a kid again and jump right in on the fun learning activities planned. We look forward to caring for your children, educating your children and most importantly loving your children daily!
It is no secret that Richmond Hill has continued to grow, and this includes McAllister. We are very excited about the new rock star teachers we added to our faculty for this school year to accommodate our growth—we now have more than 1,300 students that will enter our doors on Thursday, August 1, 2019! For this reason, we have added quite a few staff members that are skilled and exceptional in the area of education.
Prior to the first day of school we look forward to welcoming our students/parents to Open House on Monday, July 29, 2019 (4-6pm). If you arrive before 4PM we ask that you enter through the gymnasium and wait until Open House begins. You will receive a phone call from your child's homeroom teacher prior to Open House.
Upcoming Dates:
- July 25-July 26 - Class Placement Communicated
- July 29 - Open House - (4-6pm)
- August 1 - First Day of School
- August 5 - August 9 - Fall MAP Testing
