Hooked!
How to Drive Engagement by Creating User Habits
Workshop with Nir Eyal
UpWest Labs is excited to host Nir Eyal, a Lecturer at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and blogger featured regularly in TechCrunch and Forbes, who will share lessons learned about the design patterns companies like Facebook, Pinterest and Twitter use to hook users.
In an age of ever-increasing distractions, creating habits in users is become a requirement to stand out from the noise. How do technology companies create addictive products? What are the secrets of creating products customers use everyday? How can you design a product compelling enough to "hook" users?
We will be hosting two IDENTICAL half-day workshops that will provide you with a powerful tool kit and framework for creating habit-forming technology products.
Participants will learn:
- The common design patterns of habit-forming products.
- The stages of habit formation and how to optimize for user retention.
- An in-depth look at the psychology of what drives user behavior and how to build products, which cater to core human needs.
- Practical steps for leading a habit design process to ensure your product is used regularly.
Please register in advance to one of these two IDENTICAL sessions (note: both events will be in English):
