Badger in the Middle

9/23/2022

Welcoming students in grades six through eight, Bennington Middle School is committed to creating a safe, caring learning environment for all students. We work hard to provide our students with the opportunities, support, and encouragement they need to be successful in our ever changing world. We are always working toward our common vision for both students and staff to

LEARN, GROW, and LEAD.

Happy Fall!

The change in the weather and subtle changes in the leaves is a reminder that fall is here. Truly, fall is one of my favorite times of the year! We have had a lot of fun this week celebrating Homecoming and sharing our School Spirit. Both students and staff have participated in the Spirit Days and have attended some of our events which has worked to build a community of collaboration.

Next, I want to remind everyone that our outside supervision and crossing guard duty begins at 7:40 am. Traffic between the high school and the middle school as well as at the stoplight can be quite busy. In order to ensure the safety of our students, it would be best if students waited for an adult to help them cross the street.

Finally, our students will be completing the 21st Century Skills Self-Assessment during SST this week. On Tuesday, teachers will review the key attributes of Problem Solving and Decision Making as well as Personal Responsibility and Citizenship. Then, on Thursday, students will complete a self-assessment over both of these areas. If you have any questions regarding the 21st Century Skills Self-Assessment, please reach out to me.

Thank you again for being our partners in education. Truly, together we are Badger Strong!
