Make a difference for KAES and share your experience through the KAES Parent Survey

Each year, in February, KAES participates in a parent survey that is provided by the conference. This is your chance to tell us how we are doing. This blind survey will give us insight on what you like about KAES and what you would like to see in the future. We want to hear your voice. Spring Picture Day is this Thursday Feb. 25

It is already time for Spring Pictures. This will be parent choice. You can choose how you want your child to dress. Students will not be required to wear school uniforms. We hope these pictures will provide memories for years to come.

We made it through the storm

I want to thank everyone for supporting the transition to virtual classes this week. I know for many of you it was challenging with no power or water. KAES was blessed as we did have a leak from a faulty valve but caught it before any damaged was caused.

KAES Students Will Be Taking A Stand For Jesus

March 6 will be a very special Sabbath. It will be a little different atmosphere than we normally have for baptism. Jumping in for Jesus will provide opportunity for friends and families to be up close to the baptistery for a more personal connection with those taking this stand.


Parents or students can contact Pastor Travis at (979) 492-6203 to learn more and prepare for this special day.

We are collecting books all February for our sister school, Pohnpei SDA School

This Thursday will be our last day to bring in nice children's books for Pohnpei SDA School. We have no additional update for the leader boards because of going to virtual school this week but I know that a lot more books have come in. We will announce the winning classroom in this Friday's Keenections newsletter.


Remember the challenge is still going until Thursday for each classroom to collect as many good quality books as possible. The classroom from each building that achieves the highest ratio of books to students will receive a pizza party.


Bring in your books before we box them all up and send them to Pohnpei.

Tuesday: KAES Loves our Pohnpei Adventist School

Dress: Beach Day / Crazy Hair Day

Bring a book for the Pohnpei School

3rd and 8th grade will make cards for pastors


Wednesday: I Love KAES

Dress: Wear your favorite sports team or Dress for a Sport

Staff will play students during assembly

Students can sign the huge cards posted in the hallways for all the KAES Staff before Wednesday Chapel.

I love KAES poster competition entries must be posted outside of the classrooms today. Prizes will be given on Friday.


Thursday: KAES loves our Custodians and Mail Deliverers

Dress: ***Its Spring Picture Day*** Dress for spring pictures

POSTER Competition:

Every classroom makes a special poster for custodians and taped outside the classroom Thursday.

6th and 2nd will make cards for custodians and Mail Deliverers


Friday: KAES loves Health Care Providers

Dress: Creative Mask Day / Casual dress

PS, PK and 4th grade make cards for health care workers (including Town Hall Estates)

We have listed the lunch menu for the entire month of February. Remember you are now able to order ahead of time for the entire month. There is a separate lunch order link available for each week of the month. All weekly links are available on the menu at kaes4kids.com and each individual week will be shared in the newsletter. It is our hope that this will provide an easier way for you to keep track of lunches purchased.


You can edit your order at any time. If you need to make a change to your order, please do it through the confirmation email you receive from your order. This will help us not to double order for your child.
