- Common symptoms of eating disorders include muscle loss and weakness, abnormally slow heart rate and blood pressure, dry skin and hair, and overall weakness.
- Anorexia is the most common cause of death among young women ages 15 and 24.
- Bulimia may result in an electrolyte imbalance, chronic constipation, vitamin and mineral deficiencies, swelling, and acid reflex.
