Historic T-6 "Fly By" added to Veteran’s Day Event
As part of the Town of Sunnyvale’s Veteran's Day Recognition event, the Cavanaugh Flight Museum will do a “Fly by” at 5:15 p.m. The historic T-6 plane will fly down Collins Road and by Town Hall right before the start of the event.
The Town of Sunnyvale is inviting our Town's Veterans to attend the Annual Veteran's Day Recognition Ceremony on Wednesday, Nov. 11 from 5:30 - 6 p.m. on the front lawn of Town Hall. The "Fly By" will immediately precede the event at 5:15 p.m.
Veterans will be presented with a medal of appreciation, Boy Scout Troop 108 will present the colors, and members of the Sunnyvale High School Choir will perform patriotic songs.
The ceremony will take place outdoors to allow for social distancing. Attendees are asked to wear masks to protect from COVID-19.
We hope to see you there as we honor our community members who have served our country!
