Our School Vision

Vision: North Metro Academy of Performing Arts will be the best charter school in the state of Georgia where students acquire the 21st century knowledge and skills ignited by the arts to be successful in high school and college.

Mission: NMAPA engages students in instruction that integrates academics and performing arts in ways that address the unique needs and interests of each student, while intentionally developing confidence, imagination and collaboration.

Silver Spoon

Congratulations to our Silver Spoon winner for this week Mr. Jones. This award recognizes a staff member who demonstrates a strong commitment to our students. This staff member encourages students and staff to think imaginatively, critically, and independently. Each week a new staff member will receive the silver spoon.

United Way

To raise money for United Way we have several events to raise money. Each activity requires a $1.00 donation.

Cookie Man Fundraiser

Thank you to everyone who is participating in our Fall Fundraiser. All Cookie Man orders are due on Friday, November 2. Please contact the front office if you have any other questions or concerns.

Early Release

Early Release is on Wednesday, October 24th & Thursday, October 25th. Dismissal will begin at 11:45 am on both days. Aftercare will be available for scholars. Please contact the front office if you have any questions or concerns.

Donation Closet

Beginning on Wednesday, September 19, 2018., we are creating our donation closet for the families at North Metro Academy of Performing Arts, and we are asking for your help! Items needed for donations are diapers, wipes, non-perishable food items, and hygiene products. We will have two boxes, one will be located in the main lobby and the other box will be in the counselors room. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Red Ribbon Week

Red Ribbon Week begins Monday, October 22nd-Friday, October 26th.

  • Monday-Drug Free Ribbon Pledge
  • Tuesday-Twin Day- students will find a friend/teacher that will dress alike to be an accountability partner against drugs.
  • Wednesday-Flash Back Day- Students will dress in clothes from the early 2000's, 90's, the 80's. This day they will learn the history of Red Ribbon Week.
  • Thursday- Black Out Day- Students and Faculty will wear all black to protest against drug use in the community.
  • Friday-Put a cap on drugs, School Wide Drug-Free Walk- Students will make posters and participate in a walk around the parking lot.

Birthday Parties

Birthday celebrations shall only take place during recess and lunch. Please limit your items to cupcakes or cake (pre-sliced). Class parties will take place before winter break and the last day of school. Please contact the front office if you have any questions or concerns.
