Settling In!
We have completed our study of the 4 Cs for success. We have practiced collaboration, creativity, critical thinking and communication. All four of these skills were needed to do our first Engineering Design challenge. The students worked in teams to imagine, plan and construct a structure out of popsicle sticks, clothes pins and binder clips that could support a great deal of weight.
Each student set two goals for themselves. One is an academic goal and one is a personal goal. They also came up with steps to take to help them reach these goals.
Evan, Aleigha, and Aidan are explaining their structure successes and needs for improvement.
Kyler and Noah are practicing communication together by drawing an imaginary monster, writing step-by-step directions, and communicating them to a partner.
