Madame Reece’s 7th, 8th, and 9th grade French classes were able to celebrate Mardi Gras in class on Tuesday, February 9th, after learning the religious history behind the celebration and the French influence of this celebration in the United States. Students stayed after school on Monday to help decorate the room in Mardi Gras style. Parents helped provide authentic Cajun food so the students were able to enjoy Cajun cuisine, decorate a Mardi Gras mask, and listen to Mardi Gras themed music. “Laissez le Bon Temps Rouler!”

Pacy Kolar

Mrs. Shreve would like to thank Pacy Kolar for his “Willingess to Aid a Teacher!” Pacy helped wrangle the laptops back into their stations in an orderly and untangled fashion. Thanks for being a great Bronco!

Jonathon Pritchett

Ms. Holderead wanted to recognize Jon for his efforts in her class as he consistently helps her, is courteous and respectful, and has gone out of his way to assist other students. Thank you Jon for being a great Bedford Bronco!

NJHS Tab Time

NJHS has kicked of their annual tab collection for the Ronald McDonald House. Many teachers and/or classes have helped collect in previous years, and we would love your help this year as well. Please save the tabs from anything canned (beverages, soda, juices, soups, etc). We will be collecting until May.For those of you who do not know about the tab collection, the Ronald McDonald House recycles the tabs and uses the money to buy supplies for the house. It is a wonderful community service project because the house provides free lodging for families while children are receiving long term (and often very serious) medical treatment.
