On Saturday, October 7th, we will be monitoring and accepting donations in both Oakwood parking lots prior to the A&M football game. If you would like to volunteer, please email Sra. Forsyth at nforsyth@csisd.org to sign up.
We are excited about this fundraiser and look forward to working with our students, parents, and PTO volunteers!
BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS!
1. Parents must provide cupcakes/cookies and napkins for their entire success class.
2. Parents/family are not allowed in the class for a celebration.
3. Parents please leave all gifts at home. Gift bags, stuffed animals, flowers and/or balloons will not be delivered to the child's class. These items will stay in office until after school. Also, balloons are not allowed on the bus.
4. No goody bags are to be distributed to the class.
5. Front office will let the success teacher know when cupcakes arrive.
HAC (Home Access Center for grades)
Please be sure to check out the HAC system. This system is designed for parents and students to keep a close eye on grades at any point. If you notice that their is a blank (missing grade), please understand that the grade as NOT been entered yet. This DOES NOT mean there is a zero for that grade. If a student has earned a zero, a "0" will be entered next to the assignment's name. A zero will be removed when the student completes the assignment and the teacher has taken time to grade/enter the grade on the computer.
Fall Festival at Oakwood
Reaching for Success In Math Booth
Students will design a maze with fact families and Algebra equations. Students are dared to follow the maze for some spooktacular twists and turns. They will be eager to lend a few hands to assist all spectators.
