A BIG thank you to Julie Bridge for chairing the Elementary Social this past Friday! Thank you also to all the parent volunteers and those who donated items as well to make this event a success. Our elementary students had a blast!

The OAS PTA is once again thrilled to announce our discounted Hershey Park ticket fundraiser! Discounted tickets are only $45 each and good for the 2023 season. Please use the below google form to secure your tickets. Payment instructions are included in the form but may be made via Venmo, check or cash.

Join us on Friday, March 24th at 7pm for Club Cranford at the Kenilworth VFW. We will have music by Enjoy! And DJ Randy Geis along with games from the Sweet Sixteen on screens for March Madness.

March Parent Academy Event

Bullies to Buddies

Wednesday, March 15th, 2023

7:00-8:30 PM

In this workshop, you will learn how to teach your child how to respond to verbal aggression from others. The Bullies to Buddies method, developed by psychologist Izzy Kalman, is a social skills program that uses role-playing to teach children how to respond to bullying. Most anti-bullying programs are based on identifying and punishing the bully. Bullies to Buddies teaches how to respond to verbal aggression in a way that immediately decreases the incidence of bullying and increases resilience. This method doesn’t just change the lives of individual children; it has the potential to change the entire culture of a school and its community.

Presenter: Connie Palmer is an experienced teacher, therapist, and school counselor with thirty years of experience working with children. Throughout her career, she has been on a quest to find a solution to the problem of bullying and is now on a mission to share the gold she has found in the Bullies to Buddies curriculum. This seminar will help you understand the causes of bullying and will give you techniques that will make a difference in your child’s life.

ELEMENTARY STEAM NIGHT (GRADES 3-5)

Save the Date! Elementary STEAM night is April 26th!


We welcome all our 3rd-5th graders to STEAM night April 26th, where they will experience hands-on how exciting the world of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math can be! Kids will get to participate in different projects throughout the session. This is not a drop-off event.


There will be two session:

Session 1: 6:00-6:45

Session 2: 6:45-7:30


Students must be registered to attend STEAM night. Please use the Google form below to register your child.


We are looking for volunteers to help with the activities in both sessions. Please sign-up to volunteer using the link below.
