Merry Christmas from the Faculty and Staff

When you awaken on Christmas morn

Know I am with you

As you begin your day thinking of all you have to do

Know I am with you

When you dress please wear this sweater of red and

Know I am with you

As you pull it over your head think of me entering your soul and

Know I am with you

As it touches your body know that I am touching you and

Our hearts will beat as one

For togetherness is what will be forever more

Christmas for me is everyday

Because I have you in heart in every way.

Merry Christmas

With Love

Faculty and Staff of St. Paul School

From the Principal's Desk

Thanks to the PTO for planning and conducting a successful Fall (Christmas) Raffle!

I want to thank the PTO for planning and conducting a successful Fall (Christmas) Raffle. Our goal was $16,000 and we collected $15,845 (99% of goal). This is a wonderful accomplishment and it would not have been possible without the help and support of the families. The funds generated will go to supporting the school in many needed areas.

Congratulations to the winner Kim Beckman. She was wonderfully surprised! Also, special thanks to Hunter Settle Family (Hunter, William and Misty). They sold $540 worth of chances and received a $50 gift card. This is a tremendous showing of stewardship and we are very thankful for the effort they put forth. The gift card drawing for families who sold more than 20 chances was won by the Wilson Family (Maddie, Shawn and Kellie).

Last but certainly not least, congratulations to Mrs. Towles and the 4th grade for selling 103% (number of children divided by the amount of money returned) of the chances they received. The class will receive an ice cream party for their efforts.

Ed Brown Corn Hole Tournament - 2/28/15

The Men’s Club each year sponsor a corn hole tournament in the name of Ed Brown. Ed was a valued member of St. Paul Parish and had a passion to help those in need, particularly in helping those who needed it to send their children to the school. The proceeds from this event support tuition assistance for families already enrolled at St. Paul. Many families have been assisted by this fund and it is important we continue to build the fund to help more families in need. If you are, or if you know someone that may be, interested in participating in this event, please contact Roger Oliverio-Chairperson of the event at 502-693-2518.

Merry Christmas!!

Fourth Grade

Happy Holidays!

The fourth graders did a coloring contest with beautiful bells that are hanging in my classroom. When you get a moment, stop by and vote! All you have to do is put a number on a piece of paper (already cut and ready) and drop it in a container.

Middle School - Pen Pals in Rome

Below is a picture of our pen pals in Rome. They just received our letters and are very excited to write back. The teacher wrote to me that she was impressed with our students' writing skills and said they sound very nice in their letters.

"Polar Express in the Media Center" day - 12/19

Today was "Polar Express in the Media Center" day.

There was a showing of the online book of The Polar Express and then had fun activities for the classes in the library. Mrs. Trusty decorated the media center to like a train. It was lots of fun for the kids on this last day of classes before Christmas break.
