Employee Referral Bonus Program

Help Us Build A Great Team!

Employees who refer a "Teacher" candidate will receive a $1000 referral bonus if that candidate is hired and works in the district for a full year. Reach out to friends and family interested in teaching and tell them about the great things happening in Bibb! Please see the attached flyer for guidelines.

Substitute Teacher Applications

The Substitute Teacher application will reopen August 1, 2019.

Mandatory HR Staffing Meetings


It's that time of year again for.....Staffing Meetings. Last year these meetings ran great and we are expecting a repeat performance. Please make sure all Personnel Action Forms for new hires, transfers, and resignations are submitted in PowerSchool by August 2, 2019. This will allow time for processing and ensuring all staff are in place prior to the meetings. Staffing schedule is attached. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Code of Ethics & Pertinent Policies & Procedures


Please review Code of Ethics/Pertinent Polices & Procedures and the Employee Handbook with your staff and have EACH staff member sign the acknowledgement form. Forward a copy of this form to Lewanna Stubbs and keep a copy for your records. Presentations and forms are available in SharePoint under Documents. Deadline to complete this process is August 9, 2019.

*Central Office employees (with the exception of Maintenance, Nutrition and Transportation departments) should visit PD Express to register for Code of Ethics training.

Classified Evaluations

Each classified employee should complete a Self-Assessment and Pre-Conference Evaluation. Supervisors are responsible for uploading completed evaluations in PowerSchool Records. Evaluation forms are located on the HR Webpage and in SharePoint. Evaluation guidelines are attached. Deadline to complete this process is September 13, 2019.

Please plan to join us for our Annual Teacher Recruitment Fair Saturday, March 7, 2020. More information coming soon!

Need to Submit Certification Documents?

For your convenience, we have created a certification email account for submitting all certification documents to HR. Simply email them to and we'll take it from there. Documents can include Initial Certification Applications, Transcripts, Requests for Added Fields, Certificate Upgrades, VLP Forms, etc. Principals, please share this information with your teachers.

Resignations and Retirements

All resignation and retirement forms should be completed in PowerSchool Records. Please remember we are no longer accepting paper forms. Letters of resignations can be attached to the form in PowerSchool. For instructions on completing this process, please visit our Webpage. Link is below:

FMLA Packets

Please remember ALL initial FMLA Packets MUST be obtained directly from the FMLA Administrator, Christi Mimbs. Packets that are initiated in schools/departments will not be accepted.
