Please welcome Ms. Schmidts as the new Robotics Club sponsor! This club is open to all students in middle school who are interested in learning about the exciting field of robotics. We will explore the basics of robotics and programming, and work on building and programming robots using a variety of tools and technologies. Whether you are a beginner or have experience in robotics, you are welcome to join and learn something new. Get ready to have fun and be challenged as we delve into the world of robotics together!

For all parents, even if your student did not attend Snowflake!

Welcome to the second semester. Our Snowflake speakers, M&P, prepared a video with some tips on "Stepping Up and Building Confidence in your Kid". The video also includes some details of what our students who attended Snowflake in November learned.

Planning has already begun for the Fall 2023 Snowflake.

Our English and math teachers are offering drop-in work time on M, T, Th and F mornings beginning at 8:15. All students are encouraged to stop by to get additional help on their English or math assignments.

The 6th grade combined dance (Glow Up) between Prairie and Station is Friday, January 27th, 7pm – 9pm at Station. The cost is $10 per student and will be a fun night of dance, treats and more.

Barrington 220 is now partnering with an Illinois school safety helpline aimed at providing students a place to report information that might prevent bullying, suicide, and campus violence. Safe2Help is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It allows students to confidentially share school safety issues via a mobile app, text, email, or phone call. You will notice that the "See Something, Say Something" button on our district and school website now links directly to the Safe2Help contact page. We are asking that all students, parents, staff, and community members now use this platform to report safety concerns.
