We hope you enjoyed the Memorial Weekend with your family.
We are learning about what it was like to go to school in a one-room schoolhouse, using both primary and secondary sources for research.
We will learn how the Revolutionary War ended this week!
Students will spend time this week working on the concept of dividing fractions and mixed numbers. Last week, we finished up multiplying with fractions and mixed numbers. We will practice multiplication a bit more to reinforce what they learned.
Mrs. Humble will be in for Mrs. Pott Tuesday and Wednesday. Atmosphere test scores will be posted and tests handed back no later than Friday 6-3-16.
We have planned a trip to Mackinaw Heritage Village on Thursday, June 2. The students will get to participate in a re-enactment of a one-room schoolhouse before touring the village. We will leave school at 9:30 and return by 3:00. The cost of this trip is $2 and students should bring a sack lunch. Permission slips were sent home, but it's okay to write a note if necessary.
All library books are due on Tuesday, May 31. Please check on your bookshelves at home and any other place library books may be hiding. Miss Frank would also like you to know that you can still check out digital books all summer by using the Destiny Quest app on your own device.
We will be collecting iPads next week. Please make sure your child has his or her iPad, cover, charging cord, and charging block.
