Belk's Blast
As we look ahead to next week, please be mindful that Darby will be assisting with the administration of our School Climate Surveys with students and staff next week! As a reminder, this is the survey data that is rated on our school report card. Several folks have asked if this is a different survey because we are administering it much earlier than normal. Nope... same one! The SCDOE moved the administration window up.... to "Farch!" Ha!
Have a wonderful, safe, and restful weekend! By the way, lay out some jeans to wear on Monday! Take care! Go Jackets!

Bell’s Bulletin
Hey Jackets!
Hope everyone had a great week! We are about to enter March already….crazy! Thank you all for the frequent parent communication that is being documented in Ed Handbook! You might not realize it but it makes a HUGE impact!
Reminders for the week:
1. Students will take climate survey on Monday during first block!
2. Staff will take climate survey during planning sessions on Tuesday!
3. If you are on evaluation this year, make sure you have completed your professionalism self-review in SC Lead!
Have a great weekend!
MOOD'S MEMO
Friends!
We made it to the other side of another week! I wanted to echo some of the points we heard on Monday because I think they're important, especially during our "Farch" era: drink the dang water, find ways to set a healthy balance between work and home, love on your teacher-neighbor, and most importantly, remember your "why!" This time of the year is tough for everyone, but we can get through it together! I am grateful to have such excellent people around me to help me when I'm feeling down, and I encourage you to seek people who can do that for you as well. Find a healthy way to relax this weekend, and I look forward to seeing you all on Monday.
As always, thank you for what you do.

STAFF SHOUT OUTS!!!
- Shoutout to Mrs. Horne and her FACS students for the delicious food and beautiful presentation!!
- Shout out to the SPED department for making BHS the ONLY high school in the district that had all of their IEPs turned in and compliant! This is not an easy task given the amount of paperwork and deadlines you all are held to so kudos to each of you!! We appreciate all you do for our students!
- Shout out to Ashlee, Kristen, Kelsey and the STUCO members for yet another great Jacket PRIDE experience and for hosting the BMS 8th graders for a preview! Great idea and super fun way to get them ready for high school!
- Shout out to Brenda and Angela for being the best “building subs” we could ask for! Both of these ladies are always willing to jump in to help wherever they are needed and it makes such an impact on our daily operations!
Shout out to Lance Bennett, Donna Conwell, and Ashlee Fairfax for leading a P.D. session for secondary principals on Flex Time and our use of Flex Time Manager at BHS! They did a great job of representing a variety of perspectives on how this time and tool has been pivotal for our efforts! They did a great job of representing all of the great things going on at BHS!
Shout out to Courtney Marshall for all of the hard work and dedication that she has shown while taking care of our students! Thank you, Dr. Marshall!!
