The Hosp Food Drive is underway
Our school is hosting a food drive for Frisco Family Services from April 3rd-13th. FFS could not supply food to the increasing number of families in need without your support. Did you know that FFS distributes over 30,000 pounds of food per month to families in need here in Frisco? Your support will help feed thousands in crisis this year. Please join us in serving our community.
If you are willing and able, please donate non-perishable items like canned foods or boxed foods:
- We can only accept non-perishable items.
- These donations will be accepted until Thursday, April 13th.
- Please check the dates on your items. They will not accept any expired foods.
We will have boxes in front of each pod with a contest to see which pod can bring more food items. Let’s show Frisco Family Services how much we love and support our community!

Take Our Sons & Daughters to Work Day
Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day is a national day sponsored by the Ms. Foundation on the fourth Thursday of April. The premise of the day is to allow children in their parents workplace to learn about the wealth of job opportunities available to them, while being asked to think about how their work will fit into their overall future.
While school districts across the state and nation support this type of exposure for young people, we do not support the program on a school day. Region 10 ESC school districts have set a precedent of the Wednesday before the second Friday in June as the common date selected for observing TODASTW in the Dallas area. If parents and their company choose to observe the day in April, this is their choice, but students will be counted as absent.
