Mrs. Lehman's Very Own Little Rodeo

Remember to Save the Date!

As of Tuesday we have officially booked our field trip for the fall. This was quite the challenge because ALL of the places I had originally checked required a minimum amount of at least 20. It made it a little challenging, but I believe our class will really enjoy Voila and it will be a great experience for all.

Working on Letters

Just a reminder...If you have not done so already please send in an extra pair of pants, shirts, underwear, and socks for your child. Hopefully we will not need them, but there are those instances that require your child to change clothes and it saves me calling you in the middle of the day if they already have a back up change of clothes here.

Favorite Quotes of the Week

"My daddy is just a little shorter than Goliath"

"Mrs. Lehman I think we need to give you a makeover"

"I bet the Hulk could beat Goliath...he'd beat him up reaaalll good"

"My mommy never puts color in our rice at home"

Our "Me" Projects

Your children have really seemed to enjoy sharing a little bit about them this week. It is neat to see them accept who they are and share it with their friends. We have been enjoying this "theme" so much that we are going to continue it into next week. Our bible theme will be the "Tower of Babble."

Grandparents Day

Today I sent home more information about Grandparents day with your child. If you have any questions please let me know and I will try and answer them.

Elementary Fun Day

Elementary Fun Day is next Wednesday afternoon. The students will have a chance to do crafts, eat popcorn, take part in a barrel ride, enjoy the playground, and bounce around in a bounce house. It will be a fun and exciting time afternoon and I am so glad it is on the day I have everyone here!

Just a Note: On that same Wed I have a training I must attend in the morning, but I will be back in the classroom before they come in from recess. So I will be with them for the fun day part, but I will be absent from the classroom that morning. I will have a sub in for me and the children will still participate in art class with Mrs. Showalter.

Race for Education

Next Friday is Race for Education. We are running from 10:15-11:15 that day. The "race track" is located out by the playground. If you have any questions please let me know and I will try and answer them. Thanks!

Phillipians 4:6-7

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
