Food for thought as we prepare to end the Fall semester!
As we get ready to wrap up our Fall semester and go home for a much needed break, I can't help but to encourage all of us to start self-reflecting on what went well, what went wrong, what needs improvements, and what brought us JOY this semester. Reflect on your WHY. For many this semester has been successful, while for others it has been a challenge in more ways than one. However, always remember the reason WHY we chose to become educators. WHY we get up every morning and start all over again each day. WHY we still have hope that we will make a difference. This profession is not easy and yet we still continue to overcome daily challenges in order to reach our students. Please take the time to practice self-care and to reflect on the power that we as educators have. I came across this video and I wanted to share with you. Do not lose hope and know that you are making a difference even if it doesn't seem like you are.
