India is a very beautiful place from snowy mountain ranges to rain forests this subcontinent has it all. India is also a peninsula which means it is surrounded by water on 3 sides.There are plenty of places to visit while your there like the west and eastern ghats little mountain ranges the run on the west and east sides of India.
UNIQUE ANIMALS
The royal Bengal tiger is the national animal of India. The Bengal tiger is the second largest subspecies after the Siberian tiger.Recent studies show on average Bengal tiger are larger then Siberian tiger.Today India has the largest number of tigers in the world.
Ancient Sites
Commissioned in 1632 by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan to house the remains of his cherished wife, the Taj Mahal is on the southern bank of the Yamuna River in Agra, India. It took over 20 years to build . It is built of shimmering white marble that seems to change color depending on the sunlight or moonlight hitting its surface. It was designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1983.
India Today
Today in India it has greatly progressed since Gandhi has died. In his time only 4 of 10 children could go to school now 8 of 10 can go to school.Today India has a great mix of wealth and poverty but they also have modern conveniences such as subways and Walmart.

Himalaya mountains are the official choice of climbers across the world. Beauty, wilderness and roughness of the Himalaya act as an attraction for many of the mountaineers and climbers to enjoy its beauty. Himalaya welcomes everyone!
