Yearbook Announcement!
Don’t forget to order your student’s yearbook! They are still available at the low price of $65.00! The only way to ensure that you get a book is to order one ahead of time. The school only orders a few extras that will go for sale after yearbooks come in. Some seniors missed out on getting yearbooks last year because they did not order ahead of time! Go to www.jostens.com to order one today so your student doesn’t miss out!
Are you a parent/guardian of a senior? Would you like to buy a recognition ad for the yearbook to celebrate your senior? You can include a personal message and pictures! The hard deadline is January 29, 2021 and we cannot accept any ads after this date. All the information on how to order can be found by going to www.jostensadservice.com.
Please watch this very important video made by RHS yearbook staff
If you have any questions about yearbooks or recognition ads, please contact Amanda Langan (amanda.langan@vernonct.org) or Jill Williams (jill.williams@vernonct.org).
MASKS for Sale
The directions for purchase are on the Flickr site. On the Flickr site is an email, nextstepmasks@gmail.com, that all orders will go through. Thank you in advance for your support of our students.
The Connecticut Youth Forum
On Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 7:30 PM, The Connecticut Youth Forum will gather virtually for the first Forum of our 2021 Season—Historians: A Conversation about Social Change and Citizenship! Join us for a live, unscripted discussion that will broaden our view of the past, present, and future. Our distinguished panel features historian and award-winning journalist Jelani Cobb, historian and Harvard University professor Jill Lepore, and moderator John Dankosky.
Rockville High has the special opportunity to invite twelve (12) students or staff to receive complimentary links to this livestreamed Connecticut Forum event through the CT Forum’s Ticket Outreach Program underwritten by Travelers. Please contact Bob Nimmo in room 131 to Pre-Register for the event. On the day of The Forum, they will directly receive the event link and password.
