Students of the Month: Service

Congratulations to our Early Learner through 5th Grade Students of the Month. These students were nominated by their teachers for showcasing the Mercy Value of "Service" throughout the month of March.

Charity Dress: Autism Awareness

Thank you for your support for this month's charity dress down day, which supported Autism Awareness. With your help we raised $341.06. The winning class was 5th grade with $80.25 in donations, and their prize is an Easter Seals activity. Thank you for your support of this cause!

Open House and Step Up Day

Our 5th grade students will attend Step Up Day at St. Peter's Middle School on Wednesday, April 12. That evening, students and families are invited to attend an Open House and Meet and Greet for Dr. Steve Gilbreth at 7 p.m. at the St. Peter's Middle School and McAuley Catholic campus (930 S. Pearl Ave). Call the McAuley Catholic office at 417-624-9320 for additional questions.

Lunchroom assistance requested

We are looking for help each day in the lunchroom. We are looking for at least one parent to help each day during our student's lunch times from 10:45 a.m. -12 p.m. You must be Virtus Trained and certified to help in the lunchroom. A Sign Up Genius is being created, and should be sent later this week. We have this week covered. Thank you for your help in getting the lunchroom covered.

Spring Picture Day is coming

Spring picture day is Monday, April 17 and Tuesday, April 18. This is a free dress day for our students. Flyers went home with families in last week's communicator. You can order online at www.inter-state.com/order and use the code: 76752RA


Volunteers Needed: We need at least two volunteers to help on picture day(s). Monday, April 17 would be several hours and could be split between two parents. Tuesday, April 18 would be about an hour of time. Must be Virtus Trained. Contact the school office at stmaryschool@jacss.org to sign up.

Spring Programs and Project Fairs

Our students are busy preparing for their spring programs and project fair. Your student's program will begin at 6 p.m. on May 4 for Kindergarten - 2nd grade and on May 10 for 3rd-5th grade in St. Mary's Church. After the program, parents are invited to view the Project Fairs in the Parish Hall. Preschool will have their Spring Program beginning at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church on Tuesday, May 16.
