Animals at Elm Street
We care too much about our students and families to put them in that situation. We also care about their furry friends to put them in that situation. So please leave your dog at home. Thank you!

Character Education
Elm Street School has established a monthly Character Education program. Character Education entails discussing the character traits of respect, self-discipline, responsibility, honesty, kindness, citizenship, fairness, perseverance, and courage while incorporating them into our daily lives.
Within the course of this school year, we will discuss the topics of bullying, good decision-making, teamwork, commitment, and attendance. We have invited guest speakers from our community.
In October, Eileen Kneeland from the District Attorney's office came to ESS to discuss kindness, empathy, bullying, and cyber bullying.
The GHS Band will be our guests in November. The character trait for November is responsibility.
