Football Travels to Hoover for State Quarterfinals

Hewitt-Trussville Football will travel to the Hoover Met Friday night for a state quarterfinal matchup with the Hoover Bucs. The Huskies are 9-2 overall on the year. The Bucs are the top-ranked team in the state and have an 11-0 overall record.

Football Playoff Broadcast Information-Subscription Required

Husky Fast Network will again be allowed to broadcast Friday's playoff game live with video and audio. Per AHSAA postseason guidelines, the game WILL ONLY be shown through the NFHS Network.

A subscription to the NFHS Network WILL be required to view the game. A monthly pass can be purchased for $10.99. An annual pass can be purchased for $69.99.

Selecting the Husky Fast Network app Friday night will automatically direct you to the NFHS Network page. From there select the HT vs Hoover game then "subscribe to watch." If you already have an account, login in with your NFHS credentials in the top right corner.

Huskies Race Past Bob Jones in Playoff Opener

Cross Country: Girls 3rd; Boys 5th at State Championships

Hewitt-Trussville Cross Country completed the 2021 season on Saturday at the AHSAA State Championships in Moulton. The HT Girls finished 3rd out of 16 teams in the 7A race. The 3rd place finish tied the best finish in the history of the Girls' program at the state championships. Sophia Knox led the way for the Huskies as she placed 13th overall with a time of 19:15.54. Kylee Sisk joined Knox in the top-15 as she placed 15th with a time of 19:19.06. Avery Cahoon finished 20th with a time of 19:33.04. Maci Mills finished 21st with a time of 19:33.86. Kinley Harris finished 27th individually with a time of 19:43.28.

The HT Boys finished 5th in the 16-team field. This was the third consecutive top-five finish for the Boys. Mitchell Phillips paced the Huskies with a 4th place finish. Phillips finished in 15:45.71. Tristan Teer finished 6th with a time of 15:46.49. Rush Lachina was 43rd individually with a time of 16:40.20. Thomas Himes finished 47th with a time of 16:43.44. Garrett Yokeley was 69th overall with a time of 17:07.81.

Girls Flag Football to Host State Semifinals

HT Girls Flag Football is now 9-0 overall on the season and has advanced to the state semifinals. The Huskies will host Oxford on Tuesday November 16 at 6pm. Tickets for the state semifinal game can be purchased here:

The winner of the HT/Oxford game will advance to the championship game which will be held on December 1 at Protective Stadium in downtown Birmingham.

Boys Basketball Wins Season Opener

Hewitt-Trussville Boys Basketball defeated Albertville 51-47 on Thursday night in the opening game of the 2021-2022 season. Ray Rolley led the way for the Huskies as he scored a team-high 16 points. Emeka Anwah also scored in double figures as he added 12 points. Karnell Smith added nine points and David Moore scored six points.

The teams played a back and forth opening quarter and the game was tied 11-11 at the end of the first. The Huskies took the upper hand in the second quarter as they took a 25-19 lead into the locker room. The Huskies held on to the lead in the 3rd quarter as they led 37-32 heading into the final eight minutes of play. Albertville took the lead with three minutes to play, but the Huskies closed in a 7-2 run to claim the victory.

The Huskies will be in action again on Tuesday when they travel to Pelham.

2021-2022 Student Athletic Passes Still Available

In an effort to increase our fan base and make game attendance more affordable, Student Athletic Passes will be available for the fourth consecutive year. With this pass, students will be able to enter ALL HTMS and HTHS home regular season sporting events. The pass is $25 and will be digital for the 2021-2022 school year. Passes can be purchased via the link at the bottom of the Q&A.


Q. What is the purpose of the Student Athletic Pass?

A. The Student Athletic Pass will be available to ALL students in the district (K-12). Our goal is to make it easier and more affordable for students to attend Hewitt-Trussville sporting events.

Q. What can I attend with this pass?

A. Students that have their pass can enter ALL HTMS and HTHS home regular season sporting events. Every sport! For the entire 2021-2022 school year!

Q. How much does this pass cost?

A. The Student Athletic Pass is $25

Q. How do I purchase a Student Athletic Pass?

A. Passes are digital and can be purchased through the schools' GoFan page. A link is provided at the bottom of this Q&A.

When purchasing your Student Athletic Pass, it is recommended that you use the “Students personal email” when setting up the account during the purchase process. To access the mobile pass for entry into events, you will need to go to on your mobile device or download the GoFan app, and login with the email and password that you used during time of purchase. The pass will be in the “Tickets” section. The pass will be validated just like a mobile ticket is done on GoFan. If you have multiple students purchasing passes, we recommend that you purchase them one at a time, and create an account for each student so that they can access their pass with their own email and password (pass transfer functionality will be available closer to the season).

If you are a parent purchasing a pass for a student that does not have a mobile device, you can do so using your personal email address to setup the account and you may present your child’s pass on your own device for entry into events.

Q. Do students with a Student Athletic Pass still need to buy a ticket?

A. No. The Student Athletic Pass is good for admission to ALL HTMS and HTHS regular season home games. Tickets will need to be purchased for playoff games only.
