Audition Information/EOY Final
*8th Grade Students enrolled in HS Band will play their HS audition. If a student is not continuing in the band program in HS they will need to prepare the Scoggins Audition
Piano accompaniment rehearsals will begin on Thursday of this week. Ask your child to play their solo for you. They should be able to make it all the way through in preparation for this rehearsal.
A schedule for the contest will be posted Tuesday in the Band Hall. If there are any conflicts we need to know ASAP. The contest schedule will be final at end of day 4/27.
We NEED YOU!
The Scoggins Middle School Band Booster is looking for people for next year’s Board. We need a President, a Treasurer ( a financial background is very helpful), someone to coordinate chaperones and volunteers, a Secretary, someone to handle spirit wear and someone for hospitality.
For the most part these are very easy jobs with a 45 minute meeting once a month and an additional hour or two commitment a month. (Our Treasurer usually works 4-6 hours a month, but may climb to 8-10 hours a month for fundraising or startup). This is a wonderful opportunity to be involved and informed! Come to our meeting this Wednesday to learn more! The meeting is in the Scoggins Band Hall at 6pm
Peak Music Festival @ Eisemann Performing Arts Center
Itineraries will be handed out in class on Tuesday- be looking for an email next week with it attached!
