PTA Membership & Pledge Drive Update
Pledge Drive
* JOIN PTA & DONATE HERE * * DONATE ONLY HERE *
Only 21% of our members have donated so far. If every member who has not yet donated gave $63, we'd already be at our goal! Whether it's $10 or $250, every little bit helps your child, so please consider donating if you haven't already done so.
NEW INCENTIVE: In addition to being entered into a raffle for Donuts with Mr. Linville, students of families who donate at least $250 will get a FREE Kona Ice!
Membership Drive
We are already 55% to our goal of 716 members to BEAT last-year's record-breaking total!
Let's keep it moving with a NEW INCENTIVE: every member who signs up by Sunday 9/4 will get entered into a raffle for a Family 4-Pack of Tickets to the UCLA/South Alabama Football Game on 9/17! And don't forget our existing incentive of a popsicle party for every class with 100% membership participation!
Our top 7 classes by number of students represented are:
Mabe - 14
O'Connell/Reynolds - 14
Garcia - 13
Peters - 12
Bastone - 11
Rovzar/Reynolds - 11
Wang - 11
A big Bengal shoutout to the Reyes family - thank you for donating the UCLA tickets!

Submission link coming soon!
The PTA Reflections Art Program encourages students to unleash creative talents and be inspired by expressing themselves imaginatively in their artwork. Students will tap into critical thinking skills to create art inspired by this year’s theme “Show Your Voice!”
All K-8 students are encouraged to experience the joy of making original works of art. Submissions can be in any of the following categories:
Literature
Photography
Visual Arts
Dance Choreography
Music Composition
Film Production
Artworks are submitted first to our PTA, where they are first recognized, celebrated and judged in grade-level divisions, while a non-judged Special Artists division celebrates student artists with special needs. A selection of entries are then sent on to councils and then districts for consideration. The final artworks submitted to California State PTA by districts are then considered for Outstanding Interpretation, Awards of Excellence or Awards of Merit. Outstanding Interpretation and Award of Excellence entries then go on to represent California in the final National PTA judging round.

Volunteering
This year we are excited to bring two NEW programs on board - a Cultural Event (tentatively scheduled for January 26th), and an adults-only Gala to celebrate our Silent Auction (tentatively scheduled for March 3rd). We are looking for one co-chair to join our existing one for the Cultural Event, and also two or more co-chairs for the Gala. We will not be able to run these events if we do not find people to chair or co-chair, so please reach out if you're interested in helping these two awesome events come to fruition!
