Base Mesh Render (Mental Ray)
I used this colour palette to determine how I wanted the creature's skin colour to look. The rest is used to help determine the lighting around the creature.
Lighting Style - Night
This would be used for the skin of the creature.
This would be used for the creatures claws.
This would be used for the teeth of the creature.

The character texturing was a fun project to complete. I had difficulty getting the textures to work on the model but after I changed the material and renderer the model came out fine.
