Principal's Message
As we move toward the month of May and the end of the school year, I am working with student council and our wonderful PTO on May Madness, 8th Grade Awards, and 8th Grade Event. I want to get farther down the planning path before I share too much information, as I don't want to create added confusion that come along with change. I am hopeful that I can finalize some end of year dates for the 8th graders in next week's newsletter.
I hope that everyone has a wonderful weekend!
Andy

GMS Back to School Supply Kits for 2021-2022
Hello current and future Grizzell families,
As we start to prepare for the 2021-2022 school year, our PTO has worked with 1st Day School Supplies to allow you to do your 'back to school' shopping risk free and from the comfort of your own home. Get the exact supplies your teachers requested without the hassle and aggravation of shopping at the big box retailers.
The deadline to order will be July 1st. The kits will be shipped directly to your home sometime this summer. You will receive a tracking notification email from FedEx when it ships. If you will be out of town you can request to pick it up at your local FedEx facility.
Please contact Kristen Caudill at kristencaudill@gmail.com with any questions or concerns.

Exciting STEM opportunity Summer 2022
Dear Dublin Families,
While I fully recognize that we are still in the midst of very uncertain times, I am a firm believer in maintaining hope and excitement for the future and all the adventures yet to come when our world opens up again. I want to provide you all with this same hope, which is why I can’t wait to tell you more about the amazing trip to Germany and Switzerland that I’m planning with EF for the Summer of 2022. This tour will be STEM focused but will also allow your students to see and learn about other cultures first hand. I’ve visited Germany twice with my family and I’ve left with some incredible memories.
There is incredible growth that comes with seeing the world and exploring someplace new and I’m excited to bring that opportunity to our community.
This trip will fill up fast, so please join my informational webinar where we’ll discuss:
- Where and when we’re going
- What we’ll see and do
- Travel logistics
- How your child can earn academic credit
- Flexible payment options that keep the tour affordable
I’ll also share details about how to sign up (space is limited!) and answer any questions you might have about this experience.
Virtual meeting date: Wednesday, April 27th at 6:00PM
Location: The webinar link will be sent to all those who register before the meeting, so be sure to register so that you are able to receive that link and attend!

Can't wait to see you there!

Dublin Student Trip to LONDON and PARIS!
Dear Parents and Guardians,
While I fully recognize that we are still in the midst of very uncertain times, I am a firm believer in maintaining hope and excitement for the future and all the adventures yet to come when our world opens up again. I want to provide students with this same hope, which is why I can’t wait to tell you more about the amazing trip to London & Paris for Summer 2022.
As our world becomes increasingly interconnected, it is critical for our students to become more culturally aware, explore new ideas and grow their potential. I believe that when students are able to see their curriculum come to life outside of the classroom, they develop a new and valuable perspective of the world.
I will be hosting a virtual info session where we will discuss details like EF’s Safety Protocol and how they are supporting groups this year, exciting itinerary details, affordable payment options, and more! This isn’t requiring that you travel, but why not learn about something fun and exciting while you have some time at home with your student.
WHEN: Tuesday April 13th, 2021 @ 6:30pm
WHERE: Virtual Meeting via Google Meets – You Must Pre-register in order to receive the link to join
Please pre-register here to attend the parent info session and receive the link: https://bit.ly/3rQDCep
For security purposes, it won’t be posted publicly so pre-registration is the only way to access the link!
Can’t make the info session, but want more information? Pre-register and select “I can’t make it.”
I look forward to sharing more about this trip with you on Tuesday!
