News from Ms. Alex in the Office

Please be sure to call in your child or email Ms. Alex if they are absent for any reason. Her email address is alex@nhcscrusaders.org.


Please call by 9 am if possible.


***Junior High Absentee Homework Procedure: A sheet will be passed around and work collected throughout the day for the absent student. The work, along with books, needed will be available in the office to pick up after 3pm. We can also leave the work in the mailbox if you will be by after 4 pm.

NHCS Prayer Team and Prayer Box

NHCS now has a student led prayer team. These students meet twice a month to pray over our school, staff, and students. They will now also be praying over specific needs that students place into the prayer box.


The prayer box is located outside the main office.

NHCS Extra Curricular Activity Reminders

**Students are not allowed to be dropped off at any NHCS event without an adult accompanying them.


**Students must remain in the building throughout the duration of the event. They will not be allowed to play on the playground unless an adult is with them.

Wednesday, November 8th Vision and Hearing Screening

KSED will be in the builidng providing vision and hearing screenings on Wednesday. They will then rescreen any child who fails at a later date. If your child fails the secind time, you will be notifited by us.


Vision: Pre-K, Kindergarten, 2nd grade, 8th grade,and transder stuents


Hearing: Pre-K, kindergarten, 1sy grade, 2nd grade, 3rd grade, and transfer students

No School-Friday, November 10th

In honor of Veteran's Day. There will be no school Friday, November 10th.
