How to vote?

The Three Amendments to Vote

15th - Race no bar to vote

-The right to vote shall not be denied by the United States on an account of race or color.

19th - Women's Suffrage

-The right to vote shall not be denied by the United States on an account of sex.

26th - Age

-The right to vote shall not be denied by the United States if they are 18 or older.

Qualifications to vote

- You have to be a US citizen.

- You have to be 18 or older.

- Have to live in region for a specific time.

November 8, 2016

A Precinct is generally the lowest division in the government of the United States.

How to register in Minesota

Registering in advance

Option 1- register online at a website.

Option 2- register by mail by filling out the registration online.

Option 3- register in person at a local county election office.

Registering on election day

Option 1- Bring ID, Current name, and Address.

Option 2- College student ID.

Option 3- Valid registration in the same precinct.

Why do people not vote?

1. They are to busy

2. Apathy- meaning lack of interest
