OMS Families,
First and foremost, THANK YOU! Thank you for taking the time to show appreciation for our teachers and staff during Teacher Appreciation Week. Our staff members were so appreciative of the car parades, items being dropped off at doors, special videos, and many heartfelt emails expressing gratitude for all that they do.
It is time for another heart video! If you have not submitted a video and your child would like to participate, please send a video or image to me at edavis@sd25.org with the subject line: Heart video. If you have already submitted a video and haven't seen your child yet, we still have more videos to come!

Dear Olive Mary Stitt Parents and Olive students,
I am very fortunate to have been able to live
for ninety-five years. I have lived during many
events that you now study. I was a Senior in
High School when Pearl Harbor was bombed.
I remember seeing the first tv and then buying
one. Many things have happened in my lifetime and now we seem to say that they are
happening very rapidly.
Thank you for all the cards, pictures, and
lovely notes that you included. It was
very nice to see familiar names of
former students who now have children at Olive Mary Stitt School.

Rockin with the Cops - Postponed
For the safety of the children in our community, the Rockin With the Cops event for Arlington Heights 5th Graders at Pioneer Park will be postponed. Discussions with the Arlington Heights Park District on whether the event can be rescheduled are currently taking place. Any updates to the Rockin With the Cops event will be posted on the Village of Arlington Heights website at vah.com or the Arlington Heights Police Department Twitter and Facebook pages.

Teacher Availability - Classroom Pack-up
During the next two weeks, May 11 - May 22, teachers may be in the building packing up student supplies and will be unavailable to respond to email or hold Zoom meetings. Your child's teacher will let you know the specific days they will be unavailable. We appreciate your flexibility as they work to make sure your child's materials are packed and ready to be picked up.
We will share additional information on how to pick up your child's materials in the coming weeks.
