The Writing Process

Prewrite

  • Make a list of ideas about a topic.
  • Choose a topic you want to write about.
  • Make an outline of what you are going to write about.

Draft

  • Start writing your ideas on paper.
  • Think about how you would want to introduce the topic.
  • Think about how you would want to structure you paper.

Revise

  • Read it
  • Ask yourself what can you add, remove, or change to make your paper stronger

Edit

  • Read it again.
  • Ask yourself does it make sense.
  • Do you need to add, remove, or change anything else.
  • Check you Capitalization, punctuation, and spelling.

Publish

  • Write your paper and express to the audience about you topic.
  • Get your point across of what you are trying to say.
  • Make sure that the audience understands what you are saying.
  • Share your work.
