3. Instrumental Audition Survey: In-person vs. Virtual

This survey aims to compile the most important advantages and disadvantages of both audition formats so that we can share the data to better inform our vote.

5. University of the Arts Summer PD Opportunities
Dr. Scott Watson, Cairn University School of Music
Dear Music Friends/Colleagues,
I wanted to let you know about a summer grad/PD course I am teaching for University of the Arts this July: "Lights, Camera...Learning: Video in Music Education."
This 3-credit grad course, held in-person July 17-21 (8:30-4:30 daily, except Fri. when we will wrap up at 1:30 pm), will give participants the skills to create engaging, effective videos for (and with) students. Maybe you've seen some of the fun I have delivering music topics on my YouTube channel (https://youtube.com/@ScottWatsonMusic)! Especially with the explosion of online content for blended learning, it's more relevant than ever to reach young learners via a medium they love.
To register, go to the following link and search for the course title/dates: https://www.uarts.edu/sms
If you have any questions, just reach out. I'd love to have you join us in "Lights, Camera...Learning: Video in Music Education" this summer!
With regard, Scott
