MMW List Server Message
January 23, 2015
Hello Maureen M. Welch Parents,
This was an absolutely fantastic week at school! It began on Monday when sixth graders from MMW participated in two different service project activities on the MLK Day of Service. Then, we had our Education Week visitation days which were very well attended. It was impressive to see the amount of parents and grandparents who took the time to visit classrooms and stop by the fifth grade Wax Museum activity.
A definite highlight of the week took place Thursday evening as the students showed off their projects at the Science Fair. All of the projects demonstrated the creativity and hard work of the students, and I most especially enjoyed seeing the children having fun showing off their projects and viewing those of their classmates.
When there are weeks like these at school and I’m experiencing activities for the first time, I grow more impressed with the school community. There is such a strong level of support by families for school programs and activities. I know that your children likely appreciate the support, but please know that the staff and I appreciate it, as well. Thank you.

If there is ever a two-hour delay or school closing, a district list server message will be sent to parents' email addresses, and the district website will provide information, as well.
Stay warm, stay dry, and stay safe. Enjoy a great weekend!
