Your Freshman Lady Bronco volleyball team took home the consolation championship at this weekend's tournament at Haltom High School! The girls won the play-in game against Arlington Heights in two sets. Then went to 3 with Burleson, but lost which shot us over to the consolation side of the bracket. It was a great game though! The girls found their spark! Started to have some fun too! The girls then beat Timber Creek, again, in 2 sets. Then went to 3 with Midlothian Heritage and claimed victory! We played a lot of volleyball in 24 hours, and I believe our girls have found their groove as a team! The girls play tonight at Bell against Irving MacArthur at 5:00! Come out to support!

8TH GRADE FOOTBALL
Our 8th grade football teams played Haltom Middle School Tuesday night.
The Broncos B team went up against a tough opponent last night. In the first half Haltom was able to get the jump and start with the lead. In the second half, our boys came out firing. Led by Jacob Elradi our defense came out strong with good tackles. The offense was able to move the ball in the air with Chase Porter connecting to Isiah Gonzalez several times.
The Broncos A team started the game a little slow allowing Haltom to take the lead. However, in the second half our Broncos started making plays. Grayson Tidwell was able to complete two long touchdowns to Trey Sargent and Caleb Walton. Both times we completed the two point
conversions through the air to Kole Martin and Nik Heh. Our defense was led by some hitters. Jonah Tui led the defense with a ton of tackles and a fumble recovery.
Are boys are excited to take on Hardwood next week. Come out and support your Broncos as we take on the Blackhawks!
7TH GRADE VOLLEYBALL
Congratulations to the 7th grade volleyball teams for defeating Haltom Middle Wednesday in straight sets, 25-13, 25-18.
The team 1 serving attack was led by Mia Sebastian, Olivia Delgado and Natalie Roach. The defensive effort was led by Kenslee Turner, Reagan Ingram, Trulie Taylor-Maroney, Christa Lopez, Jamia Easter-Clark and Murae Horn. Great Team Spirit and energy was shown by Sara Thapa- Magar and Lana Davis. Way to go Lady Broncos Volleyball!
In set 1, Kaylee Rinn and Madeline Dean's service pressure gave us a 11 point run in the middle of the set to really bury Haltom's hopes, and our defense looked tight, returning near everything Haltom got over the net.In set 2, Harlie Higgs set the tone early with great service pressure and then Abigail Eschbacher sealed the deal with a great run at the end of the set to give us the win. Every player brought HUGE energy last night and made Haltom feel like it was a home game.
7TH GRADE FOOTBALL
The Broncos 7th grade football B team came out slow in the first half falling behind early. After finding their grove early in the second half, the Broncos held Haltom to zero second-half points. An amazing 70-yard touchdown scramble from Cody Vongsypraseuth brought the final score
to 21-6. Your 7th-grade boys will be in action Monday against Harwood.
The 7th grade A team played hard in their first game of the season. Led by Braylon Harris at quarterback, Braylon was able to get the lone touchdown of the night on a hard fought drive. Paul Watkins led our defense with multiple tackles. All of our Broncos played hard and we are looking forward to our next game against Harwood.
