Teacher Appreciation Week! 📚⭐️
Learning at Home
We will plan to end new learning assignments on Friday, May 29, 2020. Teachers will use the follow week, June 1- 5, to offer support to students who are behind on work or struggling with assignments. The last week of school, June 8 - 12, we will schedule Parent-Teacher Conferences to discuss each child's progress and/or to plan for next school year.
If you or your family is struggling to access or complete the work, please contact your child's teacher or call the school at 610-841-4560 and leave a message. Even though the building is not open, someone will get back to you promptly, during regular business hours.
Picking Up Student Belongings
2020-2021 School Year
The first plan is for a full return to school 'as usual', with updated practices and procedures to prevent, limit or respond to concerns related to the spread of illness. This plan will also include an online learning program for students who are unable to come to school full-time due to medical or COVID19-related reasons.
The second plan is for a continuation of full-time, online learning that includes the use of new, school-owned devices, should we be directed by PDE to do so. We certainly hope we won't need to use this plan, but if we do, we will be prepared, having made improvements using all we have learned this time around.
Our 2020-21 calendar was in its final stages of review at the time of the closing. We will post it shortly and we will keep you updated with any new information as we receive it.

Yearbooks
Middle States Accreditation (MSA)
While we await confirmation, our Steering Committee is finishing their review of the parent and staff surveys. Our Data Team is wrapping up their analysis of student performance baseline data to support their proposed objectives for our academic goals. Their next step is to present this information to the Steering Committee for review, so we can move toward Action Planning to achieve our goals.
What we need are parent and community members on our Steering Committee! While we are wrapping up our school year work, our Leadership Team and faculty will continue moving forward with action planning through the summer. Our Steering Committee will start meeting again in the fall, and we hope to see you there! If there's anything we learned from this closing, it's how to use online tools for virtual learning. If it helps to include parents by running a Zoom component, we'll set that up!
Follow our progress on our MSA website page and stay tuned for information on our next meeting!
