On Tuesday, June 1st at 7:00 PM, a second reading of a proposed BOE educational equity policy, which incorporated public feedback, took place. Members of the Board of Education voted unanimously in favor of Educational Equity Policy 1800. Parents/caregivers, students, educators and community partners can stay informed and learn about how this policy will touch the lives of all students in the WHPS system. Equity policy is one more step in WHPS' commitment to an equitable community. The full adopted policy will be available on the district's website soon.
