What's Happening?
Please remind your child to complete the "All About Me" discussion post on eClass if it is not completed. It is due by Tuesday.
Our school Fundraiser continues! We are raising money for Chromebooks and other technology equipment.
The school-wide reading program will start next week!

What are we learning?
Math (Mrs. Lee's Class): Reviewing for up coming test. The test date is Thursday, 9/5.
Science (Mrs. Lee's Class): We are starting our next unit on plant and animal classifications. We will be focusing on animal classifications.
Social Studies: Turn of the Century - Panama Canal and Immigration
Writing: narrative writing - drafting and revising. Students will begin completing their final copy of their personal narrative.
Reading: We will begin our first round of literature circles. Students will be reading books that are around their reading level with a group of students. They will apply theme based skills we are learning in our mini-lessons. They will also participate in group discussions about the book they are reading.
