Family Break Series: Mindfulness & Helping Your Child Manage Stress
- Join School Leaders Scill, Amanda, and Imani on Friday morning, December 7th for a light breakfast and conversation for our monthly Family Breakfast Series.
- December's topic: Mindfulness & Helping Your Child Manage Stress. Between classwork, homework, after school activities, making and keeping friends, the role of social media and technology in their lives, and a host of other issues that children face, they increasingly find themselves stressed out.
- We are pleased to have BCS School Counselor Deb Rothenberg as our guest facilitator/speaker. Deb will discuss how parents can detect telltale signs of stress in children, causes of stress to children, and the use of mindfulness to help children to reduce and manage their stress.
