No Teacher Left Behind Act

This Newsletter is compile of a wealth of information on training, workshops, that our teachers are attending. These particular training's will deliver high quality instruction, strategies, principals in order for our teachers to teach our 21st Century Learners.

21st Century Skills

Should all teachers across the country use certain practices.

Teacher's across the country should be uni-formal when it comes to the practices. In order for our students gain comprehension of an assignment the teachers would need to be able to teach in the same manner. The teachers should already have in mind their viewpoint of where they want their students to go.

If so what should be these practices be?

These practices should be Developmental Appropriate for all learners. The teachers should attend training's and workshops on how to deliver these practices. The teachers should make sure that they are cognitively conscious of newly advised practices. The teachers should collaborate with other teachers to gain insight on how to teach these skills

How would you suggest we, as a nation, provide consistent learning opportunities for teachers and ensure that they are not left behind in learning about new techniques and strategies?

Teachers should be given the opportunity to come together and learn from each other in training's. Teachers should give a chance to partner together with other teachers in workshops and build upon collaboration. Teachers would need to implement what are researched based practices. The teachers would need to work together with implementation of technology. The teachers would need to understand the learner’s style of learning.

Should there be a consistent standard for all teachers to meet, just as students must pass high stakes tests? If so, what would be the standard?

Teachers should increase their professional development every year with so many hours. The teachers should take what they learned back to the classroom. The teachers should make sure that are implementing differential instruction to the students to meet all learners. The teachers should not have “One Size Fit All”, type of learning in the classroom.

As long as teachers are following the program and/or procedures given from the standards, then they should be very well prepared. I do not agree with the way the program is divided into phases, it should be given in steps to follow but learned at once.
