THE RISE OF ROBERTS
What Matters at Roberts?
Did you know that the human body could not live without healthy red blood cells, just as schools can’t live without healthy test scores? But, here’s the deal. Although we need red blood cells to live, we don’t live for the red blood cells. Guess what? This is the same thing with Roberts Middle School. We need healthy scores to survive, but we don’t live for the scores. We work at Roberts for a higher purpose and simply use that data to serve the greater good. Roberts, I will constantly push you to be the best version of yourself. Each of you are making a difference in the lives of our students. I am so proud of you. I constantly ruminate how my administration team and I can make life easier for you. I promised myself a long time ago, that I would never forget the moment-by-moment life in the classroom. That is why I write this today, to let you know that your purpose is being fulfilled by how you love on kids and influence them to be the best as a students and in life. Thank you for choosing to come every day to Roberts to do work that matters and that serves a higher purpose. By the way you can all wear jeans and professional shirt on Wednesday.
