Learn about shortcut keys for you and your students.
Each Tuesday, you'll get a quick tip to help you and your students. My goal is to help you leverage the power of technology to enhance teaching and empower your students to reach their full potential. Techy Tuesday flyers will cover Short Cut Keys, Google Chrome Tips, Google Drive/calender/Classroom resources, and a monthly PD wrap up.
This is one of my favorite shortcuts! When you need to move large sections of text or images, using the cut shortcut followed by the paste shortcut is the best way to go. Highlight the desired section, hold down the Ctrl and X keys, and ... Poof! Gone! Well, not really. Those items head over to your virtual clipboard and will remain there until you paste them where you really want them. If you want them to disappear, you don't have to paste them back in your document. Just cut them with Ctrl+X and carry on. Here's a poster of the October Shortcut Key of the Month to add to your classroom environment to encourage your students to try it out! Below that, you'll find past flyers as well.
