MPES First Grade Welcomes a New Colleague

Please welcome Ms. Casey Weltch to MPES. In fact, this is a homecoming for Ms. Weltch as she was a Mt. Park student. Therefore, welcome home Casey!

Casey comes to us from Meadowcreek Elementary where the principal had to reduce staffing by 3.5 points. Principal Daunoy was highly complementary of Casey, the relationship she had quickly fostered with her teammates, students, and parents. I assured Casey we will all work together to make this a smooth transition. Casey begins work at MPES on Tuesday after Labor Day.

WATCH D.O.G.S. were out in force!

Last night, MPES had a packed cafeteria of Dads of Great Students (DOGS) eager to get started supporting our students as volunteers. Thanks to Mr. Young for taking this on and thanks for Jeanie Baldesare being there to support his efforts in getting the paperwork finalized so our rookie DOGS can start volunteering soon. Also, thanks to the PTA for supporting this effort.
