MS Boys Basketball League
6th-8th Grade Middle School Boys League
This competitive basketball league is for the player who may have missed out on the school team or wants to refine skills to try out again!
Teams will be made up of boys currently in grades 6-8 and put together dependent on the school they attend. If numbers permit, teams will be school specific. Teams will be put together by the Community Education Department and will have a maximum of 14 players per team.
Each team will need a volunteer coach who will be required to attend a coach’s clinic on December 3, 2016 at 9:00am at the Community Ed Center. Background clearance is mandatory. Teams will play eight games on either Friday nights or Saturday mornings/afternoons starting in late December or early January 2017. KLMSL rules will apply. Additional league rules may be added at the coach’s meeting.
Teams will have up to 2 hours of practice per week. If additional facilities are available, additional time may be given. Players will be notified of practice times and locations after the coach’s clinic on December 3, 2016. Each team will have at least one practice before their first game. Players will receive a team jersey for participating.
Team Standings will be kept and individual awards handed out to League Champions.

Practice one day per week with games on Fridays or Saturdays.
