Da Vinci Science Center

Kindergarten & PreK2 Field Trip

Tunnel & Shadow Room

One of the Da Vinci Science Center’s most popular exhibits, Tunnel Vision is a hit with visitors because it lets them crawl through a 72-foot maze-like tunnel in complete darkness.

A lot of people really liked the tunnel. Grace, Connor, Gayarti, Dylan K, Joshua Dadoun, Josh Downer, and Jaxxon all said it was their favorite part!

We stood in front of the Shadow Room’s phosphorescent wall and make funny gestures or body positions. A bright flash of light goes off, illuminating the room. When the flash dissipates, the shadow of our silly shape is left behind, frozen on the back wall.

Mackenzie and Taylor said this was their favorite part!

Main Exhibit Floor

There were so many things to see and do on the main exhibit floor. A dino dig, a submarine, a marine tank and much more.

Melanie enjoyed the octopus on the submarine best. Charlotte enjoyed the marine tank and seeing the sea creatures.

Animal Grossology

Animal Grossology is an all-out, impolite, unapologetic, and playful animatronic adventure of everything that is sticky, stinky, slimy, oozy, and disgusting about animals.

Landon's favorite part was the frog launch game.

Grossology Live Show

Based on the popular children’s book by Sylvia Branzei, this program is all about the impolite science of the human body. While some may think it is gross, kids love it. This program takes viewers on a tour of the digestive system from beginning to end … No Grossology show would be complete without learning about peristalsis, stomach acid, and, of course, poop!

There were a lot of "ewwww's" and "gross" during the show, but Gavin said the show was his favorite part! And Katelyn said her favorite part was when the lady ate the fake "poop". Ewwww!!!!

2nd Floor Exhibits

Little Learners Lab

The last stop of the day was a favorite! Kaden, Dylan R, Ella and Mya all loved building with the big blue blocks!

Bus Ride

After a busy day exploring, some of us fell asleep on the bus ride home.

Greyson and Eli said they loved the whole museum!
