Field Trip to Austin, Texas.
We had a great time in Austin! It was a very busy time. We left campus at 6:30 AM on Thursday. Once we arrived in Austin, it was nonstop. First we went to the Texas State Cemetery. There were great stories told on several of the people buried there. Next we were back on the bus for lunch and off to the Bullock Texas State History Museum, State Capitol, and the Visitor Center. After we were thoroughly exhausted, we were back on the bus to head back to Weatherford. Finally, the buses pulled into the school driveway around 9:00 PM.
Writing STAAR Test on April 10th.
- Show up on time
- Eat breakfast
- Bring extra dry snack, mints, and gum (if you will be responsible and not put on furniture or floor)
- Encourage them to use the strategies we have been using, not to rush, take frequent breaks.
This just one day and not a total reflection of your child in my eyes. Let's give them the best possible start to the day and let me do their best.
